Dr. Arakelyan received his PhD in Physics in 2010 from the University of Maryland at College Park. Since then he is working at the AMO Physics Laboratory of Dr. John Thomas.
His current research project focuses on studies of pairing mechanisms in strongly interacting quasi-two-dimensional two-component Fermi gases of 6Li atoms.
