Post Doctoral Associate

Scanning Transmission X-ray Microscopy
       We solicit applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to be filled as soon as possible. Primary responsibilities will be to execute a scientific program in natural and synthetic polymer research utilizing a Scanning Transmission X-ray Microscope (STXM) and complementary analysis tools. For details about STXM and its applications see http://www.physics.ncsu.edu/stxm/ The successful candidate will work with a team of researchers from McMaster University, ALS, SUNY @ Stony Brook, Dow Chemical, NIST and NCSU. Candidates with an extensive polymer science background are preferred. Experience with synchrotron radiation, spectroscopy and/or microscopy is desirable. The candidates should have a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry or related fields.
