The
maps of how to get to the campus and of the campus are most easily found
at http://www.ncssm.edu/General/map/index.htm
and a picture gallery can be found at http://192.154.43.167/gallery/campus.htm
and in particular, ones that show the entrance to the auditorium, where
we will be gathering Friday night, are at http://192.154.43.167/gallery/campus/snow/etcentrance2.jpg
or http://192.154.43.167/gallery/campus/snow/etcentrance7.jpg
, or http://192.154.43.167/gallery/campus/snow/etcentrance9.jpg
. For
purposes of orientation, these pictures were taken from approximately
the corner of Maryland Avenue and West Club Blvd. where attendees will
likely be passing if they come to the campus via the Hillandale Avenue
exits on either the Durham Freeway, or I-85. They will turn off Hillandale
St. at West Club Blvd., and approach the campus from the west. When
they reach the corner of Maryland Ave., the auditorium will be on their
left. If
coming via Guess Road from the North, turn right off of Guess Road onto
Broad Street, and then right again at West Club. The auditorium is then
past the next traffic light and on the right. If
coming north on Broad St, turn left onto West Club. For
those coming to the campus for the first time or who haven't been here
in a long time, Hugh Haskell recommends the Hillandale St. approach.
It is the simplest, and will be direct, for those who stay at one of
the Motels at the Hillandale exit off I-85. They will take Hillandale
south from I-85, and North from the Durham Freeway. Accommodations
There are
9 motels within three miles of the campus. Prices do not include an
