Welcome to the NCS-AAPT! The North Carolina Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers is open to all physics teachers and those interested in the teaching of physics, especially in the state of North Carolina. We hope that you will join the NCS-AAPT so that we will see you at the next meeting! The objectives of the Association are to advance the teaching of physics, to further the appreciation of the role of physics in our culture, and to enhance effective communication among those concerned with the teaching of physics at all levels. The Fall 2008 Meeting of the NCS-AAPT will be held with SESAPS and SPS Zone 5 at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina on October 31 - November 1, 2008. Shawn Weatherford, David Haase, David Ernst, and John Risley will be our hosts with the other members of the Physics Department. Shawn Weatherford has set up the Website for the meeting. For more information on past meetings visit the Meeting Headquarters page. Send abstracts and suggested workshops to John Hubisz or Shawn Weatherford.
