Labs in Summer Sessions I & II begin the first week of
class.
Some lab sections may even start on the first day of class. To check your lab schedule and other important information about your lab, click on the appropriate link above.
Questions
The answers to many of your questions can be found in this website. You should also see PY FAQ (How do I switch sections? How do I add a closed section? Who can give me Department Approval? How do I get help with Physics? Etc.).
If you cannot find an answer to your question on
this website, then try contacting your lab TA. You can find the name of your TA on the
webpage for your lab (links to individual lab webpages are at the top of this
page). Also, a list of TA email
addresses can be downloaded here.

General Policies:
· You must register separately for a lecture section AND a lab section.
· Physics labs are intended to support and enhance the physics principles discussed in class. For this reason, any student who is repeating the course, MUST also repeat the lab.
· As a general rule, adding or switching lab sections after labs have begun is not permitted.
· Make-up labs are not offered in the Summer Sessions. Refer to the webpage for your lab for more information (links to individual lab webpages can be found at the top of this page).

Physics Tutorial Center
The Physics Tutorial Center is a walk-in facility (no appointment required), staffed by physics lab TA’s, to help students with any physics question.
For Summer Session I, the PTC begins on Tuesday May 21st and runs through June 20th.
For Summer Session II, the PTC begins on Tuesday July 2nd and runs through August 1st.
Operating times and location:
· Summer Session 1: Riddick 314 2:00-4:00, Monday through Thursday
· Summer Session 2: Riddick 461 3:45-6:45, Monday through Thursday
